Our sheepfarm is located up in the hills of north-east Umbria, near the old town of Gubbio.
The landscape is almost intact as it is protected by the E.C. as a site of particular ornithological interest.
Agriculture is our main source of income; we breed sheep and sell firewood.
We started taking occasional guests about 20 years ago, restoring the house and some of the old stables and barns into apartments of different sizes, each with it's own kitchen, bathroom and a terrace so to guarantee privacy and indipendence.
Outdoors is all for leisure and sports. The swimming pool (6 x 12 x 1,50m) overlooks the Apennines and we might have the region's most panoramic tennis court (synthetic grass). A small soccer pitch for memorable matches between locals and guests and mountain bikes for the toughest trails.
The old haybarn has been turned into a playground sheltered from both the rain and the sun. There is a ping-pong table, table football and a skittles alley, the old flemish ancestor of bowling. All these facilities are included in the rental of the apartment.
